Our organization Inti Alliance is starting a new Shoe-Drive Fundraiser for the second year. We are partnering with Funds2Org, the Florida organization that collects shoes through several entities like churches, non-profit organizations, and community groups.
Funds2Org deliver the shoes to underdeveloped country communities and micro-entrepreneurs, who donate or sell the shoes and improve their communities. In compensation for this help, Funds2Org sends a check and each entity invest that money in their purpose.
In our case, all funds collected through this Shoe-Drive Fundraising are invested in buying soaps and shampoos for the homeless. Last two years, during the pandemic, our organization was able to donate 33,500 soaps and 9,200 shampoos.
We are looking for gently worn, used or new shoes. We love sneakers, running shoes, tennis shoes, high-tops, boat shoes, brogue shoes, clogs shoes, platform shoes, high heels, slingbacks, loafers, oxford shoes, monk strap shoes, boots, espadrilles shoes, ballet flats, strappy sandals, and flip-flops shoes.
This year we are working with several team leaders located in San Gabriel and San Fernando Valleys. Also, we are working with some churches in Los Angeles that allow us to place our booth and place an ad in their Sunday bulletin.
